They are also used to repair any weapon or armour by taking two items and putting them in the anvil. Both of these actions are done by right clicking the anvil and then placing both of the items you want repaired or improved then taking the product of the two items out of the third spot on the left of thee anvil menu out. But to do this it cost you levels/xp it can cost anywhere between 1-30 levels depending on the type of weapon/armour and the current enchantment.

I believe iron has a better defence bonus then gold does in minecraft. When you equip both typed of armour you can see that one more of the defence bonus/chest plate over your health is filled up when your wearing iron compared to gold. Also gold armour breaks really fast.

The easiest one would have to be Agility because it's so consistent, but the fastest 99 is cooking due the ultra high exp rate at all levels.
Also cooking is so consistent but you require raw foods. You can trade people 1 raw: 1 cooked. High combat people usually do that. And the good thing about both these skills is you can get 99 in both these skills with little to no gold.

minecraft is written in a programming language called java. java is not known for being quick but it is very good at being operating system agnostic (i.e. cab run on windows or Linux without any code change). this means that you only have to release one copy of an application (although mojang have an installer on top of their windows application) typically called a jar.

however all this means that it's inefficient and doesn't use ram or processors properly and is not completely compatible with gaming graphics. hope gives you some insight :)

I think that the first machine that you should make in tekkit is the generator. This is because all the other machines are useless without a generator, but if you where thinking actual machines I would go with the extractor. In the new runescape combat update dragon claws will be 2 different weapons. This is one of the reasons why dragon claws are dropping right now. And it will be a dragon claw and an offhand dragon claws so you can use dragon claws with different weapons.
